Dandi Studios is known for its contemporary, casual and classic look. No matter the project or style of home, our goal is to create a design that will stand the test of time. We love to incorporate our signature look of blended warm neutrals, textured organic materials and thoughtful elegant decor pieces woven throughout. Each design is tailored to our client’s unique preferences, aesthetic and lifestyle.

Absolutely! The majority of our full-service projects are in Washington state, but we don’t shy away from an exciting project anywhere nationally or internationally. While we do have limits to time and travel we’d encourage you to fill out our project inquiry form (link) so we can learn more about your project.


Note: if your project is in Phoenix, Arizona or Nashville, Tennessee housing for travel will be free of charge.

For new construction, the project timeline is typically determined by the builder and/or contractor. Once your contractor / builder provides us with a timeline, we’ll layer in our design work at the corresponding stages. New builds typically take two to three years to complete, from start to finish.

Ultimately it is up to you! During the onboarding process of your project we work to understand your preferences, needs and lifestyle so that your design will be a reflection of who you are. In our experience, some clients like to participate in every step and others like a more hands-off approach. Regardless of where you lie, we strive to create sophisticated designs tailored to you, that enrich both your home and your lifestyle. As design experts, we may push you out of your comfort zone but we encourage you to embrace the process in order to get your desired results.

Typically I recommend starting our project at minimum ~3 weeks from the time you book, but it does depend on my availability which ranges throughout the year. Typically projects book about 1-2 months in advance.

Because we are a boutique design firm we do not have a minimum or maximum size restriction. However, we take on a variety of projects that range from vacation home face lifts to complete new construction homes and our project pipeline is limited each year.

We work with the contractors hired by the client. We love working with other design professionals to create your custom space. We prefer to use professionals that we have worked with on previous projects and can provide recommendations when necessary. Dandi Studios does not provide contractor services; so independent architects and contractors hired by the client are an integral part of the process.

Every project is unique! That being said, it all depends on your scope of work - size, timeline, budget, criteria, etc. We bill an hourly rate for all design time and give you a rough estimate of our hours. However, we can never guarantee exact pricing due to unforeseen circumstances, change orders, and job site visits. We present one concept for each room, designed in its entirety so that you are able to see the full, cohesive picture. We do offer a round of revisions and we'd be happy to source additional options for furnishings at our hourly rate if that's of interest.

We work diligently to handpick vendors and sources, and have spent years cultivating relationships with them. We invest immense time and resources visiting trade shows each year, scouring vendor displays for their newest products. We have the opportunity to touch and feel pieces. Custom pieces cannot be returned, but we don't think that will be a concern.
